Legislation On Niue Land
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. A bill which provides for a new system of land tenure and land administration in Niue was presented to Parliament today by the Minister of island Territories (Mr Hanan). The bill, the Niue Amendment No. 2 Bill, would enable Niueans to administer their land according to their own customs, Mr Hanan said. The proposed changes had been approved by the Niue Legislature.
