The injury was the result of an over-enthusiastic performance in a husband-and-wife row during the filming of the comedy, “The Secret of Santa Vittoria,” at Rome's Cinecitta studios last night. A member of Miss Magnani’s household said she was staying at home today with her leg in plaaster. A film company spokesman said Mr Quinn was not hurt. In the film, based on a best-selling novel, Miss Magnani plays the businessminded wife of a wine-merch-ant played by Quinn, who fights with her husband when he invites the whole vilage to sample some of the million bottles of wine being hidden from the Germans during the Second World War.
