ONE-MAN SHOWS
Two one-man shows are to be held in the Canterbury Society of Arts gallery soon. Mollie Stevens, of Tirnaru, will show paintings, collage and hand-made paper from September 28 to October 10. On October 13, Ernest Kalnins Will open a one-man show which will include, he says, various paintings—abstract, semi-abstract, constructed and representational —some decorative art, and a few sculptures, using any material which seems to him to be suitable. Mrs Stevens has expressed a wish to lead some informal discussions during her show, and she'will be in the gallery for that purpose at. 3 p.m. on October 1 and October 3.
