LEAD ROLE ZN HAWAII
Singer From Hamilton A Hamilton singer, Nepha Taiaki, will leave this week to take a lead role in a musical in Hawaii. She has been invited to play a part in the new Eaton J. Magoon musical, “Thank Heaven for the Heather,” which will open in Honolulu on October 5. The invitation for Miss Taiaki to play the role was made last week by telephone from Hawaii. Miss Taiaki’s talent was noticed by Mr Magoon when he went to Hamilton last year for the opening of another of his musicals, “13 Daughters.” Miss Taiaki played the comedy lead.
