Whale To Be Buried
Marine Department employees will attempt today to bury the carcase of the large whale which has been rotting on the sand near Pines Beach for some days The department’s district administration officer (Mr J. D. Wisker) said yesterday the sand had been building up round it with the incoming tide, and it was already partly buried. The bones of a second whale have been found nearby.
