Burglaries Reported
The theft of $7O worth of tools from a builder’s shed in Winchester Street, Merivale, on Friday, was reported to the police yesterday. The training centre of the Disabled Servicemen’s Reestablishment League, at 42 Riccarton Road, was broken into at the week-end. Damage amounting to $5O was done, but nothing was stolen. The sum of $lO was stolen when a .house in Purchas Street, St Albans, was burgled at the week-end, and $6 stolen from a cafeteria when the Kaiapoi-Petone Tex. tile Group’s mill in Cumnor Terrace, Radley, was broken into.
