MALAYSIAN DIPLOMAT
Chch Visit This Week The Malaysian High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand (Dato Donald Stephens) will arrive in Christchurch on Thursday. During his two-day stay he will visit Malaysians training in the Army and the Air Force at Burnham and at Wigram. Dato Stephens, who is based in Canberra, will be accompanied by the counsellor of the High Commission, Inche Mustapha bin Dato Mahmud, and the military attache, Lieutenant-Colonel Lai Chung Wah. On Friday the party will go to Burnham Military Camp in the morning to meet nine Malaysians training there for medical and dental service. Afterwards they will go to Wigram to see five Malaysian aircrew trainees. The three men will leave Christchurch for Sydney on Saturday.
