‘Ultimate In Blasphemy’
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 3. In the production of his famous book “Thoughts,” Mab Tse-tung has done what could almost be termed the ultimate in blasphemy, says the church weekly, “Challenge.” Several persons who have bought copies in this country, it says, have discovered that the cardboard stiffening in the covers is pieces of Bible covers cut to size. “Challenge” says that while it is unlikely that the total number in print (estimated to be 100 m copies) have such cover stiffening, a large number do.
