The New Zealand squash team was beaten by Victoria in both the men's and women's sections of the Australian squash championships, which ended at Perth on Sunday night. New South Wales retained its unbeaten record in both sections in the teams’ championship. Men s Team Championship.— New South Wales beat Western Australia, 4-0; South Australia beat Queensland, 3-1; Victoria beat New Zealand, 3-1 (A. Minch* ington beat J. Isaacs, 2-9, 9-7, 10-8, 9-10, 9-4; R. Lewis lost to C. Waugh, 4-9, 5-9, 8-10: W. Hunt beat D. Bermister, 9-6, 9-4, 9-4; G. Hunt beat T. Johnston, 9-7, 9-6. 9-2). Women's Team Championship. —New South Wales beat Western Australia, 4-0: Queensland beat South Australia, 3-1: Victoria beat New Zealand 2-2 on points <L. Connolly lost to J. Hislop 9-10,, 2-9, 6-9; A. Smith beat A. Stephen. 9-1, 9-4, 9-4; M. Zachariah lost to P. Buckingham, 5-9, 7-9, 3-9: R. Kennedy beat V. Biss, 9-6, 9-1, 9-1).
