APPRENTICE INJURED

(N.Z. Press Association) HASTINGS. The young Hastings apprentice jockey. D. J. Withington, will be out of action for at least six weeks after an accld ent at Hastings yesterday. Withington, one of the areas most promising young riders suffered a fracture of his right leg when educating horses in barrier practice. After jumping away from the barrier a horse lashed out, striking Withington.
