Hotels Seek Aust. Girls
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. Australian girls were still required to fill hotel vacanIcies in some parts of New j Zealand, the Minister of i Tourism (Mr Thomson) said I in Parliament today. The Tourist Hotel Corporation and the Hotel Association of New Zealand began to recruit Australian girls only when it became impossible to fill the positions with New Zealand girls, he said.
