Jubilee Cup To Linwood
The Linwood B team in the under 6st 71b grade has won the Canterbury Rugby Referees’ Association Golden JubUee Cup for this season.
Another Linwood team, the A side in the under sst 71b A grade, was third. The St Bede s College first fifteen, which plays in the under 19 grade and has an outstanding record in the cup competition in recent years, was second.
The points for the top three teams, reported by Mr R. H. Bull to last evening’s meeting of the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Uniort, were 38.30, 37.14 and 36.58.
Changes.—The senior reserve final between Marist and Sydenham on Saturday has been changed to be the curtainraiser at Lancaster Park Oval. The match between the Canterbury and Mid-Canterbury under 18 sides was changed to Lancaster Park South.
The Canterbury v North Auckland game on Tuesday, September 10, was changed to a 3 p.m. start.
