Fordham Shield.— Hutt Valley won the Fordham Shield for the North Island’s best soccer team of boys aged 14 when it beat Auckland, .4-0, at New Plymouth on Friday. Rugby Spectators. Attendance figures for the 1968 French tour -of New Zealand reached 312,198. The third test at Auckland attracted 55.000 —the highest match attendance of the tour.
