N Z. 5.5.791 PART I—PUBLIC PLACES PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Kaiapoi Borough Council held on August 19, 1968. a resolution was passed by way of Special Order, to the effect that the pre sent provisions of Clauses 110 and 111 of Part 1 of the New Zealand Standard Code of Gen eral By-Laws (as adopted by the Council in September, 1956) be revoked and revised provisions substituted therefore.

The intention of the proposed by-law is to provide more effectual control to protect footpaths, kerbs and water channels and to regulate the construction and use of temporary crossings and channel crossings. The full text of the proposed by-law is available for inspection without fee during office hours 8.30 am. to 4 p.m. on week-days. Any person wishing to object to any provisions of the proposed by-law is required to submit such objection in writing to the undersigned not later than 9 a m. on Monday September 30. 1968.
