Fleisher, aged 19, the third youngest performer to win the championship, carded a par-70 over the difficult 6672-yard course. M. Giles (Virginia) finished second, one stroke behind Fleisher. at 285. Giles hit a round of 65 to beat the course record of 67 K. Bohmann (Texas), finished third with a 288 after he. hit a round of 67 today.
