19-year-old Wins U.S. Title
GN’-Z-P-M’Reuter—Copyright; COLUMBUS (Ohio). September 1. A 19-year-old player, B. Fteisher (Florida), has won the United States national amateur golf championship with a 72hole aggregate of 284. Fleisher, aged 19, the third youngest performer to win the championship, carded a par-70 over the difficult 6672-yard course. M. Giles (Virginia) finished second, one stroke behind Fleisher. at 285. Giles hit a round of 65 to beat the course record of 67 K. Bohmann (Texas), finished third with a 288 after he. hit a round of 67 today.
