THIS SHEARUNG SOUTHDOWN RAM, sold by Mr H.J. Andrew, of Maheno, left New Zealand recently on its way to the stud of Dr L.B. Huff in Oregon. It was due to spend a month in quarantine in Hawaii before going into service in Oregon early in September. Dr Huff’s stud was founded with Punchbowl stock, he having bought 50 ewes and three rams while on a visit in 1965. At that time he was living in California.
