AMOS, Albert— On August 29, 1968, at his residence, "Wharetea,” Wakanui, Ashburton, dearly loved husband of Jessie Amos, loved father of Ronald (Wakanui), Mavis (Mrs L. B. Kenny, Mayfield), Lorna (Mrs J. F. Clemens, Barrhill), Margaret (Mrs E. Garthwaite, Lumsden), and Frank (Wakanui), and loved grandfather of all his grandchildren; aged 77 years. (Suddenly.) (Late Ist N.Z.E.F., 7/1434.) The Funeral will leave the residence, This Day (Saturday), after a service commencing at 2 p.m. for the Ashburton Lawn Cemetery, Baker Bros and O’Reilly, Ltd. DOBBY, Mary Fortuna Elizabeth —On August 30, 1968, at Christchurch, loved daughter of the late Anne and William Dobby, of Marshland, and loved sister of Tom (Australia), Jack, Nellie, Garland (Australia), Glady, Sarah, Bert, Arthur, Frank, and the late Percy, Jinny, and George. A Private Funeral Service will be held in the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, Linwood Avenue, This Day (Saturday), at 1.30 p.m. J. Lamb and Son, Ltd. ECKHARDT, Louis, of 86 Gladstone Street, Kew, Melbourne, Australia —On August 23, 1968, at Melbourne, beloved husband of Janie Eckhardt, and dearly loved father of Pat (N.Z.), Gwen, Jean, Russell, Lily, and Marion. GREAVES, Frank, of 170 Wordsworth Street (and late of Springston)—On August 30, 1968, at Christchurch, loved husband of the late Jane Elizabeth Greaves, and dearly loved father of Thelma (Mrs Linton), and grandfather of Max, Aileen and Clive, and great-granddad of Kevin, Sharon, Judith, and Sandra; aged 86 years.
