Iwas stranded on a lonely road at night I’d stopped to light a cigarette and foolishly turned off the ignition. My battery was flat L waited for a car to come along. I waited and waited. Thirty minutes and one stopped “Your nearest garage is three miles up the road” he told me, “have you got a tow rope?” Well, of course, I hadn't And neither had he. Thirty more minutes in the cold and dark before the next car. This time my luck held. He had a tow rope. First thing I bought after the new battery was a rope. I won’t be caught like that again. Too dangerous. Most garages stock a pre-packed Lynn rope which measures 12 ft long, is made of Nylon, cornea complete with metal cleats, bound ends. Cost about $5. Has a breaking strain of over 3,500 tbs. LW/V TOWROPES AT THE NEAREST GARAGE OR SERVICE STATION
