B.L.M.C. Sales Increase
In the first six months of this year, exports of vehicles being made by the British Leyland Motbr Corporation reached 248,621—a 27 per cent increase on the combined exports of B.M.H. and Leyland for the same period last year, before the companies merged. Total export earnings for the six months are $l2B million. The biggest increases in car sales have been in Europe, particular in the Netherlands. Sales to Common Market countries have increased by 50 per cent.
