Message From The Queen
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 29. The Governor-General (Sir Arthur Porritt) has received the following message frorthe Queen: "Please convey to the Government and people of New Zealand my sincere thanks for their kin<* message of sympathy on the death of Princesr Marina.”

Prince’s Marriage Marked.— Bunting displayed aboard the Wilhelmsen Line’s 12,288-ton bulk carrier Troja at Lyttelton yesterday marked the wedding day of Crown Prince Harald of Norway and Miss Sonia Haraldsen. The Troja is discharging phosphate at Lyttelton.
