Gold Medal To Italian

Italy and the Soviet Union shared the two gold medals decided in the world cycling championships yesterday.
The Soviet Union also took the silver and bronze medals in the women’s sprint event, which was won impressively by the 19-year-old Alla Barguiniantz. Italy’s gold medal winner was G. Grassi—the first man to win the amateur motorpaced event for his country.
