NEW SHIP LAUNCHED.—The dry bulk carrier Skaufast (100,000 tons), said to be the largest vessel of her type to be launched so far in Europe, leaving the slipway after her recent launching in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The massive ship, 885 ft long with a beam of 133 ft, will carry iron ore for a Dutch steel company.
