Two Drivers Injured
(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, August 27.
The drivers of two cars suffered injuries in a collision just south of the intersection of the Main South Road and Campbells Road. Kingsdown, at 12.10 p.m. today. Lloyd Herbert Wardle, aged 48, a bricklayer, of Otatara, Invercargill, suffered fractures, lacerations, bruising and concussion. Robert Wolsley Campbell, aged 52, a floor sander, of Elizabeth Street, Timaru, suffered lacerations, bruising, and concussion.
Both men were admitted to the Timaru Hospital where their condition was described this evening as comfortable. Both cars were badly damaged.
