GISBORNE. In a Rugby match with plenty of enterprising back play, Poverty Bay beat Marlborough, 17-15, at Gisborne, yesterday. Scorers. —For Poverty Bay: Tries by P. Ransley and M. Parkinson, a dropped goal by H. Rutene, and a conversion and two penalties by M. Hollis. For Marlborough: Two tries by N. Avery, and two penalties and a dropped goal by K. Patchett.
