Rugby marks
Two new records for appearances in the interisland Rugby match will be established when North meets South at Lancaster Park on Saturday. C. E. Meads will be playing for the North Island for the tenth time; previously he shared the record of nine appearances with D. Young, the Canterbury and South Island hooker. At full-back for South Island, W. F, McCormick will be playing his ninth consecutive game in the annual fixture. The previous record for a successive appearance was' established by R A. White, with eight games in a row for North Island.
