WELLINGTON, August 23. The Governor-General \Sir Arthur Porritt) and Lady Pbrritt will pay their first official visit to the Chatham Islands early in October. Their Excellencies will fly from Wellington about 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, and are scheduled to arrive at the Chatham Islands at 2 p.m. (local time). Their Excellencies will spend Wednesday, October 2, and the next morning at the Chathams, and will leave on their return flight to Wellington about 12.45 p.m. on October 3.
