BLEDISLOE CUP
Ambulance Awards (N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, August 25. For the second successive year a Rotorua cadet. Sergeant J. Harman, won the Bledisloe Cup in the New Zealand St John Ambulance Brigade’s cadet and nursing cadet competitions at Rotorua on Saturday. Harman completed his firstaid test with 204 points, 14 ahead of J. B. Laurenson, Wellington, to be judged the best individual cadet. The Canterbury Centennial Shield for the best individual nursing cadet went to Nursing Cadet Sergeant E. G. Mclnnes, Otago, with 206 points. S Munro, Waikato-Bay of Plenty, was second with 203} points. The Wanganui district cadet team won the Sir Alfred Robin Memorial Shield with 356} points, one point ahead of Wellington.
The Colonel Barclay Memorial Shield, for the best district nursing cadet team, was won by Otago.
