Organised by the Soroptimist Club of Christchurch to aid the Soroptimist Fund for Service at Home and Abroad. 50 BRIDES OF 1967-68 will wear their wedding gowns again at the HORTICULTURAL HALL 8 p.m. Sept. 10. It is a glorious chance for the bride to relive once again the most momentous day in her life ... and possibly win a valuable prize. For Brides-to-be it is a unique opportunity to see wedding styles worn by a real bride. Fashions for the wedding guests will also be paraded. This is the fourth “Bride of the Year” contest organised by the Soroptimist, and as on previous occasions, there was no dearth of entrants.
