UNION ENDS STRIKE

AUCKLAND, Aug. 26.
Most of the 400 boilermakers who went on strike last week returned to work this morning after a warning from the Minister of Labour (Mr Shand) that he would deregister the Auckland Boilermakers’ Union if work was not resumed. Men who did not return to work today will be back tomorrow.
