UNIT SUBS. EXPECTS GOOD YEAR
Half-yearly accounts to April 1 and trading since that date by Unit Subdivisions, Ltd, Auckland land developer, give every indication that last year’s record profit will be maintained.
The chairman (Mr R. D. Cox, says this in a circular accompanying letters of entitlement for the one for four issue at 10c premium. The directors are confident they will be able to recommend that the dividend be held at the 10 per cent on the higher capital, he says.
The new shares will not rink for the dividend for the year to October 1, 1968, payable in February. The closing date of the issue is October 2. In addition to the projects contemplated and under way when the slm debenture issue was filled last September, several other large-scale developments have been decided upon. The company has assets at independent valuations and book, value of about $4.4m. The new issue will raise $150,000. Any shares not taken up or deemed to have been declined will be allocated as required by the underwriters.
