Poles See TV Film
(N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) WARSAW, August 26.
Poles last night saw Czechoslovak villagers shaking their fists at invading Polish troops in a three-minute film on Warsaw television. The film, taken by a Polish Army cameraman from a vehicle moving in convoy, showed Polish armoured troop carriers and other vehicles driving through villages and past Soviet tanks parked along roads and in fields.
In one village two children darted out from the roadside and appeared to try to push a moving motor-cycle and side-car, which swerved, but continued on its way. An accompanying commentary said that counter-revolu-tionary forces spread lies and attempted to provoke irresponsible elements, but "friendly welcomes to our soldiers are not rare.”
