Litter
Sir,—l would like to be hopeful about the untidy public but am afraid we have a very long way to go. I was walking along the Broad Street and Larnach Street area two weeks ago and was amazed and disgusted by the rubbish littered aboutbroken bottles, rose cuttings, parts of cars, mattresses, etc.; trees being burnt on the road Itself, and garden rubbish all about Is it worth while to teach children to be tidy when adults are responsible for such untidy streets? —Yours, etc., ANTI-LITTER.
