Maguire Wins Road Race

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. E. .G. Maguire (Auckland Univarsity), the New Zealand Olympic 10,000 metres entrant, won the OnehungaAuckiand H-mile road race for tho second successive time on Saturday. His time of 33min 30sec, although some 2sec slower than his winning time last year, and 35sec outside the record, was very good under the conditions of gusting cross and headwinds of considerable strength, which buffeted tho field throughout tho race.
