Invitation To Soviet
Because of recent events, It is not known if an invitation to the New ZealandU.S.S.R. Society from its Russian counterpart for three delegates to visit the Soviet Union before November will be accepted. Professor H. W. Rhodes, president of the society, said last evening that a meeting would be called soon to discuss the matter and, if necessary, select those for the visit.
A Dunedin member of the society is reported to have said he would decline to be a delegate if invited because of Russian actions in
