Cash Cycling To Veteran

The veteran A. Howison won the combined cash cycling clubs SO-mile race for the Kesteven Cup at Baisweil on Saturday. Howison beat hi* co-marker, R. McGee, after the two had led all the way. They finished well clear of the fast-finishing T. C. Gibbs and L. M. Vette.

K. R. Jeffery sprinted In the brothers, C. D. and B. w. Yaxley, for fastest time.

Alan, made it a good day tor the family when he won the Mairehau Novice Wheelmen's second cup race of the season, the 12-mile Laycock Cup race, on Lower Styx Roafi on Saturday morning. Howison and his co-marker, P. Robinson quickly caught the limit riders, and dropped them, to finish well clear. Tbs little S. Perry stayed with the pair to take third place. Robinson had the bad luck to pull • wheel In th* aprint. R. E. Knight produced * devastating sprint to beat the other scratch rider* for fastest time, A. V. Barford Just heading P. F. Neale for second time. For the first time this season there was a dead-beat, for fifth place, between P. Jesson and K. F. Radburnd.
