(N.Z. P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Aug. 24.
Doctors at Walter Reed Army Hospital reported tonight that former President Dwight Eisenhower remained in “critical condition” but had suffered no further heart irritability since this morning. In answer to questions, the doctors said this morning’s rapid heart action was a serious setback for his recovery from the serious heart attack he had eight days ago. The attack was his seventh in 13 years and his fourth in nearly four months.
