One for the road
A GOLFING shot Ripley x *" would love wae played by A. Gadliauskas, during the Rangiora dub’s open tournament on Sunday. At
the 357-yard, eighth hole, known as “The Pit,” Gadliauskas pulled his second shot on to the road which borders the left-hand side of the fairway. But the player’s anguish quickly turned to joy. The ball bounced three times on the road, jumped back over the fence and on to the green, and dropped in the hole for an eagle two.
