RACING Fair Law Should Win Again

Now that Fair Law has reached peak form, there is every reason to expect him to continue by winning the Broadway Handicap at Ellerslie today.

This race is the second leg of the T.AJL double at the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting.

Th® flve-length success by Fair Law last week wu an Impressive effort He is still only six pound* above the minimum so there seems no reason why the Fair Lord four-year-old will not repeat his success here. Kalgoorlie, a top-ciass sprinter, hac to give Fair Law over a stone. At his best Kalgoortie is probably a much better galloper than Fair Law but he has not raced since April and he may need this race to fit him for future engagements.

Boston Boy surprised last start at Franklin, earlier this month. He wtil strike ground similar to that he raced on at Franklin so he must command respect in this event SunvaHey Mist is by the good sire of sprinters. Byland. He ran last at hi* first start for nearly a year at Avondale on June 29, but this Takanini trained gelding has the potential to beat flits field. Top Youngsters Honey Belle, a class two-year-old last season is resuming since racing at Trentham tn March. She is obviously a brilliant filly and will be well suited by the six furlongs. Mitamit is another youngster of promise with a chance. Although he will probably later make his mark as a stayer he is no doubt capable of a good six furlongs. He footed it with the best of his age last season. Fairscott, Pell Mell and. Roganne remain in favour for' the first leg. All three are class gallopers, but none will find the race easy going. Assembled are some of the beet hones tn New Zealand and the likes of Star Belle, Rainfall, Lu Fiiou, Ruakiwi Lass, Redaire and Head Off are all certain to make them work to capecity.
