Airliner To Be Freed
(NX. Frenr Attn.—Copyright) ALGIERS, Aug. 19. The Algerian Government probably would free all 14 Israeli crewmen and passengers of an El Al jet airliner hijacked last month by Arab commandos within the next few days and return the plane 48 hours later, wellinformed sources said. United Press International reported. The sources said that the early release of the men and plane was included in the agreement reached on Saturday by executives of the International Federation of Airlines Pilots’ Association (I.F_A.L.P.A.) and the Algerian Government. Under the agreement, the I.F.A.L.P.A. lifted its planned boycott of all flights in and out of Algeria which was scheduled to go into effect at midnight last night. The announcement of the cancellation of the boycott yesterday said only that Algerian authorities had promised to release the Israelis as soon as their investigation into the hijacking had been completed.
