The Canterbury Terminating Building Society increased its profit by $80,256, or 30.0 per cent, to $343,132 in the year to May 31. Members" funds rose $2,242,131 to $14,457,936 and members' savings rose $1,984,600 to $13,367,349. Income in the latest year rose $171,554 to $941,144. Investments at cost rose $364,123 to $2,360,831, while advances to members rose a gross $2,851,147 to $20,209,003.
