(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANTERBURY. Australia humbled England's second ranking county, Kent, winning by nine wicket* yesterday. J. Gleeson and G. D. MeMcKenzie spearheaded Australia’s victory on the eve of the fifth test Kent was dismissed for 152 in its second innings, Gleeson taking five for 29 and McKenzie three for 44.
Australia then scored the 44 runs needed for victory for the loss of K. D. Walters.
