Convention At Dunedin
Nearly 2000 Jehovah’s Witnesses from throughout the South Island and the lower half of the North Island are expected to attend a convention in Dunedin this week. About 350 from the Christchurch area will take part in the convention, which will begin tomorrow and end on Sunday. To accommodate the visitors, motels, guest houses, motor camps and private homes within a 15-mile radius of Dunedin have been booked out.
Speakers will include the presiding minister in New Zealand (Mr C. Canty) and the district overseer (Mr H. J. Benesch).
