Aid Flights Halted

The International Red Cross Committee said yesterday that it had suspended relief flights to B fairh.aiwhc lief flights to Biafra, which crossed Federal Nigerian-held territory, because of military action against two of its planes. A spokesman said one plane was shot at on Thursday and another was forced to turn back late on Friday because of heavy ground fire.
He said neither of the planes, chartered from a Swiss company, was damaged. The spokesman said the Red Cross delegate in Lagos was to seek an explanation for the shootings from the Federal Nigerian Government
