The market continued to follow a bearish trend yesterday. Great Western sold 14c lower to 46c after directors stated that there was no change of any significance in the position of the company from that stated by the chair man at the last annual meeting in November, 1967.

Western Mining and Great Boulder were virtually unchanged and oil stocks were generally a shade easier.

The drift in minings continued in quiet trading. Most issues declined moderately. Nickel leaders, however, closed above low points—Great Boulder finished 10c higher at 1580 c after selling down to 1520 c. Hamersley dropped 60c at 1400 c.

Oils eased. Ampol Exp. was down 15c at 435 c and A.O.G. was down 10c at 165 c. industrials were barely steady. B H P. lost 50c at 2270 c.
