SMITHFIELD MARKET
There was a good inquiry for New Zealand lamb on Smithfield Market, in spite of increased supplies of homekilled lamb, the Meat Board reports.
The main grade (prime 29-361 b) was quoted at 26d to 27d per lb, or $d higher than last week.
The main grade of New Zealand hogget (49-561 b was quoted at 16d per lb and wethers at 14} d to 15d per lb. Ewe mutton was quoted at 12d per lb. Price Range
