Lucky Week

“The Press" Special Service CAMBRIDGE.

The Cambridge jockey, R. W. Taylor, has good reason to believe that the past week has truly been his lucky one. A late opportunity to ride Free Pass at Riccarton and a journey south brought success in the Winter Cup at the Grand National meeting at Riccarton. On Wednesday, immediately after his return home, Taylor and his wife shifted from a property in Hamilton Road to a residence nearer to Cambridge. The house they had just left was totally destroyed by fire on Thursday morning. Taylor did not escape completely as he had planned to return to remove some persona! fossessions valued at about 100.
