Fellowship Festival
The North Canterbury district of the Methodist Women’s Fellowship held its first choir and drama festival in the Linwood Methodist Hall.
The festival was opened by the Rev. 3. D. Grocott, president of the Methodist Conference. Choirs were entered from Papanui, Rangiora, Upper Riccarton, St John’s Bryndwr, Richmond, Halswell, Shiriey and SydenhamBeckenham fellowships. Mr F. Dennis was the judge. Plays' were entered from the Fellowships of St John’s, Bryndwr, Rangiora, Beckenham, and Upper Riccarton. Mrs N.: Creese was the judge. Assistance with lighting and stage management was given hy the Religious Drama Society.
