C.S.S.O. Seeks Pay Rise
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 8. The Combined State Service Organisations has applied to the Government for an immediate interim wage increase of 5 per cent, payable from August 19, their chairman, Mr I. E. Reddish, said in a statement today. Mr Reddish said the body was also seeking an early interview with the Government to discuss this claim and related matters.
