ALAN JUSTIN CARTER. 9351 RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL BURNSIDE MEMORIAL HIGHWAY LOAN, 1968, OF $2517 It is hereby publicly notified that the Riccarton Borough Council will, at a meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, 199 Clarence Street, on August 26, 1968, consider a resolution to raise a Repayment Loan to meet Sinking Fund costs and other annual charges in relation to the repayment to debenture holders of the Burnside Memorial Highway Loan No. 2, 1957. The purport of the resolution ‘s that a loan of $2517 be raised by way of the issue of Stock for a term of 10 years at a maximum rate of interest of 51 per cent per annum. Payment of interest and principle in respect of the Loan is to be made in New Zealand and not to be payable out of Loan money. A special rate of .0043 cents in the dollar on the unimproved value of the Borough is to be pledged as security for repayment of the Loan and a Sinking Fund of 7.95 per cent ner annum on the outstanding Loan amounts is to be provided. The Borough is to combine with the Christchurch City. Heathcote, Paparua and Wa’mairi Counties for the purnose of raising a joint Loan and the Christchurch City Council is to be appointed agent for all purposes thereto.
