Third Oil Show In Snapper
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, August 8. The Esso-B.H.P. combine today reported the third show of gas or oil in its Snapper off-shore well in Bass Strait. In a brief statement B.H.P. said: “A series of small shows of gas and/or oil in thin, tight sands has been encountered as evidenced by wireline tests below 5600 feet.”
